EPISECC presented at PSCE Conference in Oxford

Public Safety Communication Europe (PSCE) Forum held its 2nd conference of 2015 on 9-10 December, hosted by Cyber Security Oxford at The University of Oxford. In parallel, PSCE also organised a Horizon2020 brokerage event on Dec. 8th.

More than 80 delegates attended across the 3 days, representing public safety stakeholders consisting of public safety communication end users, ministries, network operators, technology developers and research organisations. Participants from 51 organisations travelled from 16 European countries to debate the future of public safety communications.

Presentation at the ESR in Dublin 2015

Georg Neubauer presented lateest results from EPISECC during the European Security Research Event (ESR) in Dublin on the 4th of November 2015.

EUCON­CIP Open­ing Con­fer­ence

Mattia Perruzza (IES Solutions) gave a presentation about EPISECC at the EUCONCIP Opening Conference which has taken place in Rome on October 20th 2015 at UNINT – Università degli Studi Internazionali di Roma.

EPISECC Exhibited at CCExpo in Berlin

The annual Critical Communications Expo (CCExpo) was held this year on 6th and 7th October in Berlin. The Expo presents an opportunity for experts in critical communications and critical infrastructure at both national and international level to come together to discuss recent developments in the field, listen to interesting presentations, and exchange information and best practices. The target audience of the Expo includes project and system managers, developers, procurement officers, technicians, trainers, and end-users of information and technologies in critical communications.

EPISECC at the CAP Workshops in Rome

Partners of the EPISECC project attended an interesting workshop on the new Common Alerting Protocol (CAP) on 23rd and 24th September 2015 in Rome, Italy. The workshop was hosted by the Italian National Fire Corps and organised by the World Meteorological Organisation together with the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent (IFRC), the International Telecommunications Union (ITU), and the Advancing Open Standards for the Information Society (OASIS).

Lina Jasmontaite presented CHALLENGES FOR THE USE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AND STANDARDS IN INTERNATIONAL DISASTER MANAGEMENT at the Future Security in Berlin (future-security2015.de).
